Atletico Madrid’s move to re-sign Fernando Torres is already beginning to pay off in a big way with the Daily Mail claiming that the Vicente Calderon side is breaking club record shirt sales off the back of the Spaniard’s return.

45,000 fans turned up to see the 30 year old forward unveiled over the weekend and the La Liga side sold 2,000 Number 19 Torres shirts from their club shop in one day, averaging 222 shirts an hour.
One can only imagine how many shirts are being sold in various relevant outlets, and no doubt Diego Simeone will consider bringing in Torres on a permanent deal once his temporary move is complete/
