Nou Camp boss’s position hangs in the balance.
Barcelona could reportedly elect to sack manager Luis Enrique within the next 24 hours according to the Daily Star.
Enrique only took over at the Nou Camp over the summer but is under increasing pressure fueled by a fairly average season on the field of play and apparent issues off it relating to his relationship with key players including Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Amid growing speculation that Messi could look to leave the Catalan giants it appears that the star player’s issues with Enrique could lead to Barcelona looking to back their star player and opt to sack the 44 year old boss.
Sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta and his assistant Carles Puyol left Barcelona earlier this week and the club are banned from signing any players in 2015 and as such there is growing dissatisfaction surrounding the club and one wouldn’t bet against Enrique being given his marching orders.
