Stevan Jovetic sale set to fund acquisition of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette to Manchester City…
Manchester City look to have a deal tied up for Swansea City’s Wilfried Bony, but are now targeting in form Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to the Daily Star.
The Frenchman as been scoring goals for fun recently, and has helped guide his team to the top of Ligue 1 at the midway point of the season.
His fine form has attracted the attention of a number of top clubs, with Liverpool and Arsenal both showing an interest in the prolific forward.
City are ready to cash in on one of their strikers to ensure Lacazette’s arrival at the Etihad however, with injury plagued £22m man Stevan Jovetic set for an imminent exit.
Juventus are thought to be keen on the 25-year-old, with a £20m bid thought to be enough to lure him away from the Premier League.
Jovetic only joined City in 2013, but a number of injuries have conspired to keep him out of the side.
