Agent welcomes interest in Serie A playmaker.
Napoli playmaker Marek Hamsik has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea after quotes from his agent Mino Raiola, according to the Daily Express.
The Slovakian international has spent the bulk of his career so far with the Italian side, establishing himself as one of the top attacking midfielders in Serie A and even Europe with some fine displays.
Top clubs have shown an interest in Hamsik in the past, and Raiola has now suggested that the player is not fulfilling his enormous potential at the moment, and that he could be playing for a bigger club.
Raiola has urged big clubs to bid for his client, saying he would recommend him ahead of anyone else at the moment, though he admits Napoli may not be happy to let him go easily.
“Marek is a great person, an amazing human. He has a great personality and as a player he is very close to Pavel Nedved,” Raiola said.
“If he leaves Napoli, he would be able to play for any team in the world. If I had to recommend a player, it would be Hamsik.
“The problem is that [Napoli owner] Dino De Laurentiis does not want to sell him. I am convinced that Hamsik is not taking advantage of his full talents. He has the ability to be one of the best footballers in the world.”
Raiola also represents big names such as Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
