LB: Aleksandr Kolarov – Manchester City
Perhaps a bit of bias here from Dzeko. Kolarov has made just 11 starts this season after overlooked for Gael Clichy so it’s hard to see how the Serbian can actually make the XI…perhaps if Dzeko were including who he’d pick for the bench, Kolarov would definitely have a place in the side nailed down.
RM: Andres Iniesta – Barcelona
Some of the sparkle certainly seems to have come off the Barca man since the exit of Pep Guardiola but there’s no doubting his immense ability and place as one of the world’s leading midfielders.
