Hernandez has been appointed as an interim manager until the end of the current season following the departure of Alfredo Tena last weekend.

They confirmed the news via their official Twitter account late last night.

In a press release, the team said that Hernandez was a “man from their own house”. He used to play for the club and has been part of the coaching staff for the last eight tournaments.

The club have also brought in Hector López as a ‘Tactical Strategist’ and Gustavo Leombruno as their new assistant manager.

After seven weeks of the 2015 campaign, Morelia are last in the league with just three points.
