Mexico squad includes three potential debutants, but Carlos Vela misses out

Mexico boss Miguel Herrera has named his 25 man squad for the upcoming friendlies against Ecuador and Paraguay later this month.

We could see three debuts across the two games, with Pachuca’s 22-year-old winger Jurgen Damm, Tigres’ 26-year-old defensive midfielder Jesus Duenas, and Pumas’ 26-year-old striker Eduardo Herrera all getting their first call-ups.

Elsewhere, there was no place for Mexico’s two best strikers Carlos Vela and Oribe Peralta, who are both forced to sit out with injuries.
