Manchester United go into their Premier League clash with Aston Villa hoping to increase their five point lead over their top-four rivals. Here is how United may line up against Tim Sherwood’s men:

GK- David De Gea

The Spaniard has been one of the players of the season, and a key reason why United currently sit in the top four.

RB- Antonio Valencia

Valencia should continue at full-back due to a lack of convincing options available to Louis van Gaal.

CB- Phil Jones

The centre-back is perhaps lucky to be available after a crunching challenge with Adam Lallana during the victory over Liverpool, which many felt he could have been dismissed for.

CB- Marcos Rojo

With Chris Smalling doubtful after collecting an injury on international duty, the Argentinian could well be recalled, having been used as a substitute at Anfield.

LB- Daley Blind

The Dutchman has looked comfortable since his recent transition to a more defensive role.
