The England international has made 30 appearances this season while on loan at the Hammers from the Gunners. He has impressed enough while at Upton Park for the Reds to take an interest but it seems that Sam Allardyce has other ideas. The East London club are hoping that the large bid will be enough to tempt the former Charlton Athletic man to turn down Liverpool.
The emergence of Hector Bellerin at the Emirates means that it is unlikely the 23-year-old will be kept by the North London club. They also signed full-back Mathieu Debuchy in the summer, meaning Jenkinson would likely be third choice in the position for Arsene Wenger despite his good form.
