The Ghanaian international is out of contract with the Ligue 1 side in the summer, and has been linked with a host of teams in Europe including the likes of Serie A duo Roma and Inter Milan but Ayew admits he wants a move to England, and revealed that he has strong ties to Liverpool:

“When I was little and I was watching the Premiership I liked Liverpool and I have continued supporting them.” The 25-year-old said (via the Metro)

“It would be a dream to play for Liverpool, but the dream is to play in the Premier League at the highest level.” he continued.

This will be welcome news to Kop supporters, who will have been disappointed to learn that highly-rated Dutch winger Memphis Depay rejected a move to Anfield in favour of a switch to their fierce rivals Manchester United as reported by Sky Sports on Friday morning.
