14) Gylfi Sigurdsson, Swansea City, £8 million
After a move to Tottenham which didn’t quite work out, the Iceland international is back on familiar territory at the Liberty Stadium. Eight goals and ten assists in the Premier League is a fantastic return.
13) Dusan Tadic, Southampton, £10.9 million
A slightly unusual choice from the Telegraph given Tadic’s inconsistency. For almost £11 million the Saints have bought a player who has scored only four goals and assisted another seven. Four of those assists came in their 8-0 thrashing of Sunderland as well.
