Pachuca won 2-0 against Queretaro on Thursday night to give themselves a commanding advantage ahead of Sunday’s second leg.

The scoring was opened after just nine minutes by German Cano, as he effort from close range proved to be too strong for the Queretaro keeper to keep out.

The lead was doubled after 35 minutes by the supplier of the opener, Rodrigo Salinas. Once again it was shocking defending.
