Only two days ago, in quotes from The Guardian, Gundogan revealed that he had started talks with Barcelona over a summer transfer to the Camp Nou – though talks were at a preliminary stage and the German hasn’t ruled out interest from other clubs.
The Daily Star cites reports from Germany that Arsenal remain in the chase for the in-demand midfielder, following suggestions that Arsene Wenger wouldn’t be able to seal his signature ahead of Manchester United or Bayern Munich.
According to the newspaper, Gundogan will consider a move to North London – provided their offer meets his demands.
Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed, in an interview with Sport-BILD, that the 24-year-old would definitely be leaving the Westfalenstadion at the end of the season. Though it still remains unclear where he’ll be playing in the 2015-16 campaign.
