Nemeth has three goals and two assists from the month of May, taking his total to six in 2015.
The former Liverpool player was signed during the winter from Roda JC in the Netherlands.
“I’d be hard pressed to find any striker as good as him in our league right now,” said manager Benny Feilhaber after learning of the award.
The 26 year old played for Liverpool from 2007 to 2010, but he never made a first team appearance for the club. Since leaving Anfield he has played for Blackpool, AEK Athens, and Olympiakos – among others.
He made his debut for Hungary in 2010, but has only played 15 times since and scored just a single goal.
He will hop his fine club form could earn he a recall.
