Arsenal are interested in signing PSG star Edinson Cavani after failing to get Real Madrid ace Karim Benzema, reports the Metro.
It has been revealed by talkSPORT journalist Ian Abraham that Benzema is not going to leave the Bernabeu this summer, so the Gunners have moved their interest on. Cavani is a striker of similar calibre, and has a great goalscoring record at the highest level.

As I’m lead to believe no deal has been done yet for Cavani, the transfer isn’t imminent but there are talks over a possible move to Emirates

I was also told the Gunners are looking to sign a second player from @PSG_English & that is @Adriien_Rabiiot again no deal has yet been done

Arsene Wenger is looking to sign the forward over the next fortnight. Last season the 28-year-old scored 18 goals in 35 Ligue 1 appearances last season, which is especially impressive when considering that Zlatan Ibrahimovic was seen as the main man for the majority of the campaign.

The North Londoners are not only interested in the Uruguay international from PSG. They are also keen on youngster Adrien Rabiot, who has shown what he can do in the chances he has been given by manager Laurent Blanc so far. Last season he managed four goals in 1129 minutes of league action, which came in ten starts and 11 substitute appearances.
