Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are in a transfer race to sign Partizan Belgrade teenager Andrija Zivkovic.

According to the International Business Times, both North London heavyweights have their eyes on the young winger and after considering a move to bring the Eastern European starlet to the capital.

The report notes that the 19-year-old, nicknamed the ‘Serbian Messi’, is considered among Europe’s brightest talents, and has previously courted interest from various Spanish sides. Villarreal and Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid are named as potential suitors by the IB Times, but AS report that Valencia were previously keen on the wonderkid’s signature.

With his contract coming to an end next summer, Zivkovic could be available for a cut price, and despite resisting a move last summer, he may be more open to a move in January or the summer.

According to the International Business Times, Chelsea were previously interested in the youngster, only to be thwarted in their attempts to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

The wideman was born in Nis, and has featured for Partizan since 2013. He made his debut for the Serbian national side in 2013 after working his way up through the national youth teams, becoming the youngest-ever player to feature for the senior side in the process.
