Braga star Rafa Silva has been enjoying one of the best seasons of his young career and is poised to leave Portugal for the greener pastures (and lucrative paydays) of the Premier League. As a result, Liverpool and Manchester United will be delighted to hear that they may be first in line to pitch Silva an offer.

According to the Metro via Sport Witness, Silva’s agent Antonio Araujo has confirmed that the 22-year-old midfielder has his sights set on a move to the Premier League, and will do whatever it takes to make sure that his dream becomes a reality.

‘Our client, Rafa Silva, sees with very good eyes the possibility of playing in the Premier League,’ Araujo said.

‘We are working towards achieving this objective.’

Manchester United and Liverpool are both believed to be interested in bringing the Portugal star into the fold.

Silva has set a new career high in goals with 12 in 46 games for the Portugal giants. He helped lead Braga to the Quarter-Finals of the Europa League, before being eliminated by Shaktar Donetsk in a 6-1 loss on aggregate.
