Confirmed Real Madrid starting lineup: Zidane forced to shuffle team after devastating injury news

Zinedine Zidane has been forced to shuffle his side for this afternoon’s game against Eibar after bad news about Luka Modric’s injury.

The Real Madrid manager has named an attacking side, with Casemiro still out injured the midfield three is made up of Kroos, James and Isco. Eibar will hope to capitalise on the lack of defensive solidity in this setup, but will have to be careful themselves as Zidane’s team look to out-score their opposition.

Madrid have not confirmed the severity of Modric injury, but some sources are reporting the midfielder could miss a month. Los Blancos need a win today to match their city rivals Atletico, who beat Valencia 2-0 earlier to go top of the table.

Barcelona play Celta Vigo in the late game, with the Catalans also looking to go top with a win.
