Italy held Spain to a 1-1 draw but the main talking point after the game was former Southampton striker Graziano Pelle who refused to shake head coach Gianpeiero Ventura’s hand.
The former Southampton striker was take off on 60 minutes after an unimpressive display against the European giants.
The 31 year old did apologise for the incident according to the Guardian but was removed from the squad following the snub and will miss Sunday’s World Cup qualifier in Macedonia.
