Real Madrid are looking to qualify in top spot in Group F, and Karim Benzema gave them a helping hand in their crunch clash with Borussia Dortmund.
A win for the Spanish giants would see them leapfrog their group rivals and go through as group winners, and they got the breakthrough that they craved.
After a super flowing move to break through the Dortmund lines, Dani Carvajal produced the pin-point cross to put it on a plate for his teammate as Benzema made no mistake to tap home the opening goal.

The defending champions will be desperate to secure the win and top spot to help them with a potentially favourable draw in the next round but it remains to be seen as to whether or not Thomas Tuchel’s men can mount a comeback.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leading their charge having scored 18 goals in 18 games in all competitions so far this season, they will be confident of their chances.
