AC Milan have been left reeling this week after their proposed takeover failed to go through, and it’s resulted in a mixed bag on the transfer front.
Sino-Europe Sports were set to complete the deal on Friday, but further problems have delayed the takeover and in turn has cast doubt over the whole situation.
Nevertheless, that has done little to stop the rumour mill from turning, with the majority of it focused on players already plying their trade at the San Siro.
Suso has spoken out about a possible renewal and has welcomed an offer from the Rossoneri having established himself as a key part of Vincenzo Montella’s plans this season.
“I’m calm, inside the locker room we don’t talk about [the takeover] and we can’t do anything,” he is quoted as saying by Calciomercato.
“My renewal? We’re just waiting, they know where to find me. There is no problem. I haven’t had any contact with the owners.”
The Spaniard has made 29 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing nine assists and having now made the position on the right flank his own, he’ll hope to have a big future at Milan.
Meanwhile, Juventus are reportedly keeping their eye on two Milan stars with Gianluigi Donnarumma and Mattia De Sciglio still on their radar.
Calciomercato claim that Donnarumma will be the trickier of the two as aside from the fact that the Rossoneri will have no intention of selling, Gianluigi Buffon’s ongoing presence in Turin will likely delay any such move until his contract expires in 2018.
However, it’s reported that the Bianconeri could have more joy in swooping for De Sciglio who is still waiting on a contract extension.
With doubts over whether or not he’ll stay at Milan, there could be an opening for Juve although similarly to Donnarumma, having come through the Rossoneri youth ranks, it’s difficult to see the club allowing him to leave for a direct rival.
