Thiago Alcantara is reportedly eager to secure a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer, with the player potentially being used a replacement for Luka Modric.
According to Don Balon, Thiago is keen to leave the German giants, and the player’s representatives have already informed Real of his desire to seal a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The report also notes that Luka Modric wants to leave Los Blancos, so signing Spaniard Thiago could end up being a great move from Real, as they would not only have a replacement for the Croatia, but also have a quality player on their hands as well.

Signing Thiago would be a solid move from Julen Lopetegui’s side, as the Spanish international has already proved during his time with Barcelona that he can cut it against some of La Liga’s best sides.
The player also has a similar, controlling play-style to Modric, meaning that signing him would definitely help fill the void that the Croatian would leave should he depart this summer.
Thiago’s time as Bayern has been somewhat hit-and-miss, as although he’s bagged a fair amount of goals and assists for the Bundesliga outfit, his time with the club has been plagued a bit with injuries.
Despite this, Thiago is a player that Real should definitely be going for, and is one that club would certainly require if Modric ends up heading out the exit door at the Bernabeu.
