Karim Benzema scored a simple header for Real Madrid this evening to draw them level against Atletico Madrid, with the goal being mainly down to some fine individual work from Gareth Bale.
The Frenchman, who struggled for Los Blancos last year, bagged his first goal of the season, after he headed home a cross from Bale at the back-post.
Benzema will have Bale to thank for his goal though, as the Welshman’s fine burst of pace and excellent cross allowed the forward to tuck home at the far post.
