Cardiff City are waiting to find out whether they have been successful in their pursuit of Blackpool winger Tom Ince, Sky Sports reports.

The Welsh club have identified Ince as one of their top transfer targets this summer and have already agreed a fee with Blackpool for the player, believed to be around £8 million.

They have also agreed personal terms with Ince but are now just waiting on the players final decision before they can complete the transfer.

Cardiff boss Malky Mackay believes that the club are close to finding out whether Ince will be at the Bluebirds next season and hopes to welcome the winger to the club before the weekend.

“Tom said the last couple of days he had a domestic issue to deal with, but Friday morning the ball’s in their court and on Friday morning we’ll have a decision one way or another,” said Mackay during an interview.

Ince is believed to be mulling over whether to stay at Blackpool with his father Paul Ince, who is also the Tangerines manager.

However, he is also keen on a move to the Premier League and Paul Ince recently said that he wouldn’t stand in the way of his son if he did decide to leave for the top flight.
