French giants keen on Spanish attacker.
Big-spending French giants PSG have reportedly made a £34million offer to Barcelona for their winger Pedro, according to Le10 Sport.
The 26-year-old wide-man has been a key player for Barcelona since breaking into the first-team in the 2009/10 season under Pep Guardiola, who promoted him from the club’s youth team.
Despite having been with Barca for his whole career so far, it has been suggested that the Spanish international could make an exit this summer after falling down the pecking order at the club last season, and potentially further now with the big-money arrival of Brazilian star Neymar from Santos.
PSG manager Laurent Blanc is a fan of Pedro, and is still hoping to secure some more big-name deals before the end of the transfer window. After winning Ligue 1 last season, the club have managed to attract the likes of Edinson Cavani and Marquinhos to Paris this summer.
Pedro has started strongly this season for Barca, and may have forced himself into the first-team plans of new manager Gerardo Martino with two goals in his first two appearances.
It is unclear if the Catalan giants will consider a bid even as large as £34million, as there is little time remaining in the transfer window to find a replacement.
