Barcelona are one of a host of clubs taking a keen interest in Man United youngster Adnan Januzaj according to ESPN.

The 18 year old impressed Old Trafford boss David Moyes sufficiently during pre-season to earn a role in his first team set-up and scored an excellent brace against Sunderland in his first Premier League start. The Belgian is now a player on the radar of a number of Europe’s elite.

Man United have been in talks with Januzaj’s representatives over a new contract but as yet no deal has been agreed, leaving the Premier League club vulnerable to offers from interested parties.

Januzaj’s agent, Dirk De Vriese, has fueled speculation of a possible Man United exit, stating;

“I’m not going to say which teams are interested in him, but I can tell you that there is interest from several European clubs,”

“The departure of Sir Alex Ferguson meant that there was a break in the negotiations. We are back working on the calls and will see how it goes.

“Adnan’s family have given me the permission to communicate. As it is only me involved, there can be no misunderstandings in the media.”

Man City, Bayern Munich and Juventus are also said to be keen on the former Anderlecht man and Moyes will be keen to avoid a repeat of the situation that led to French midfielder Paul Pogba moving to Turin in similar circumstances and Man United are apparently confident that the winger will sign a new deal that is due to run until 2018.
