Nou Camp side to bring in German international.

Check in to Celta de Vigo vs FC Barcelona

Barcelona have reportedly agreed a deal to sign German international keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen according to Bild.

The Nou Camp side have been linked with a number of potential custodian signings as they prepare to say farewell to long term first choice keeper Victor Valdes, who has publicly stated he will leave the Catalan club this summer.

A move to bring in Borussia Monchengladbach keeper Stegen will cost Barcelona around €10m (£8.5m) and the 21 year old has apparently already agreed terms with the La Liga giants and will leave his hometown club after four seasons in the Bundesliga side’s first team set-up.

The 21 year old is considered one of the hottest young prospects in German football and has already racked up almost 100 club appearances and has three full German national team caps to his name and is currently Joachim Low’s third choice for the position but could see a move to Barcelona help him push ahead of perhaps both Rene Adler and Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer in the long term.
