Nou Camp side keen on Goodison Park boss.

Check in to Everton vs Sunderland

Barcelona are reportedly taking a keen interest in Everton boss Roberto Martinez according to the Daily Mirror.

The Nou Camp side are said to be impressed by Martinez’s excellent start as Toffees boss and could see the Spaniard as a long term prospect, though it’s worth noting that the Catalan side only brought in Gerardo Martino to replace Tito Vilanova a few short months ago.

Everton have lost just once in 17 Premier League fixtures this season and Martinez will hope to secure a top four finish in his first season in charge of the Merseyside club.

Martinez helped Wigan Athletic to an FA Cup triumph last term but was unable to prevent the Latics from suffering relegation to the Championship.

Martino has done well since taking charge of Barcelona in July, winning 20 and losing just two of his 26 games at the helm.
