Catalans impressed with Deulofeu’s progress at Goodison Park and will loan Tello as a result.
Arsenal and Liverpool target Cristian Tello could be the second Barcelona player to be loaned out to Premier League side Everton in as many seasons as the Catalans are believed to be impressed by the progress made by Gerard Deulofeu at Goodison Park last year.
While the Gunners and the Reds have been plugging away trying to work out a permanent deal for 22-year old, the Mirror reports that the Spanish giants are only open to a loan deal for their winger.
Everton’s limited cash reserves means that they would happily settle for a loan deal for a player of Tello’s skill and talent, and could also offer the speedy winger more playing time in the Premier League than the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool.
Toffees boss Roberto Martinez would have ideally loved to keep Deulofeu at the club for another year, but it appears that Barcelona were impressed enough with the player to bring him into their first team fold.
