Tottenham Hotspur will face Cypriot opposition in the Europa League playoff round.

Apollon were knocked out of this season’s Champions League in the qualifying rounds, losing 3-1 to Zenit on aggregate, after winning the first leg 1-0.

Spurs will travel to Cyprus on August 21, then play the return leg at White Hart Lane seven days later.

Meanwhile, Hull City have been paired with Belgium’s KSC Lokeren OV.

Lokeren finished fifth in the 2013-14 Pro League.

Their domestic campaign is already two games old, having kicked off on July 26.
