Marco Reus is a target for English clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal, and all will be relieved to hear that the German does not have a deal in place with Real Madrid already.Marco Reus is perhaps the hottest property in Europe at the moment, and his €25m release clause means he’s affordable for many clubs.

There were rumours this week that the German’s club, Borussia Dortmund, had an agreement in place with Real Madrid for a “first option” on the player, but this has now been denied by Dortmund’s chairman.

“The player will decide for himself where he wishes to go.”

This will come as a huge boost to Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Chelsea, who are rumoured to be interested in purchasing the attacker.

The former Monchengladbach player currently has a bad ankle injury, which may have entirely scuppered the prospect of a January move.

The timing could not be worse for Dortmund, who desperately need the attacker back in form, as they sit at the bottom of the Bundesliga.
