FMF President Justino Compean has said Mexico want to host the 2026 World Cup.
It is believed that they would be one of the favourites for the tournament should they bid, with the competition not being hosted by CONCACAF since USA 94.

Mexico have hosted the tournament twice, in 1970 and 1986.
