Manchester City were dealt the first blow in the second-leg tie against Barcelona as Ivan Rakitic completed a wonderful move to chip the ball over Joe Hart at the Nou Camp.
The goal was typical Barca – Lionel Messi dragging defenders towards him before cutting back onto his left foot and spreading play to Rakitic, who was free on the left, and able to control the ball with his first touch and lift the ball over England goalkeeper Hart with his second.
However, this doesn’t change Man City’s task on the night drastically as the Premier League champions still need to score twice to qualify.
