The Gunners have won their last eight league games in a row to keep the pressure on Chelsea and look ready to pounce should the Blues drop points between now and the end of the season.

With Ramsey and his teammates in FA Cup duty against Championship side Reading on Saturday evening, they could end the day either 10 points behind the league leaders or drop down to third should Manchester United win the league encounter at Stamford Bridge.

If the former was to happen and Jose Mourinho’s side claim a victory, it would give the North London outfit a huge mountain to climb with just six games remaining in the league but there is a sense from the Welshman that there time will soon come:

“I think so.” he told The Telegraph, when asked if a Premier League title was getting closer for Arsenal.

“I think after we did win the FA Cup, that sort of feeling you got, everyone realised we want more of this. I feel we are very close.” he added.
