Alexis Sanchez may be in excellent form for Arsenal at the moment, but that form has seemingly alerted Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, who now has his heart set on signing him, according to the Metro.
The Chilean international bagged himself a brace during the comfortable 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday, and now reports in the Spanish media claim that Real are watching him closely.
However, recent reports have claimed that Sanchez is close to agreeing a bumper new contract to extend his stay in North London, which could complicate matters if the La Liga giants are serious about signing him.
A lot will also depend on the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, who is still heavily being linked with a move back to Manchester United, or to Paris Saint Germain.
Any transfer business they undergo will likely be based on whether Ronaldo stays or leaves.
