Barcelona full-back Dani Alves has confirmed that he won’t be staying at the Nou Camp beyond the summer, and has admitted that life has been getting too easy in Catalonia.

The Brazil international was heavily linked to the exit door last summer, but ultimately opted to remain at the club.

He was a key man in Luis Enrique’s La Liga-winning side this term, but now appears set to end his tenure at the club after confirming that he’s keen for a change of scene.

“It’s certain that I won’t be staying at Barcelona,” the right-back began, speaking to the Gazzetta dello Sport. “In life, we must explore options beyond our comfort zone.

“Barcelona are an amazing club,” he continued, “but things have become too easy.”

The ex-Sevilla star is yet to reveal exactly where he is planning to move to, although Serie A champions Juventus are heavily rumoured to be his next destination.
