Manchester City are eager to bring more striker options into the fold to conform to Pep Guardiola’s schemes – and it looks like they are about to get one of their top targets: Celta de Vigo and Spain striker Nolito.
According to AS via Spanish TV station TV3, Man City have triggered the release clause in Nolito’s contract and will pay approximately €18 million to bring him to the Etihad.
Nolito has scored 106 goals in 370 total club appearances since his debut for Ecija in the 2006-07 season.
In his last three seasons at Celta, he has scored 39 goals in 100 league appearances.
