Manchester United ace Juan Mata broke the deadlock against Watford at Old Trafford on Saturday with Anthony Martial bagging an assist.
The Frenchman made it four assists for the season as he continues to try and hold down a starting berth in Jose Mourinho’s line-up, with his cut-back going beyond Zlatan Ibrahimovic and finding Mata who tapped in.
It was the Spaniard’s sixth Premier League goal of the season which comes in 20 games, while he took 38 games to reach the same tally last season which proves he is certainly more effective in the final third this campaign.

While there are other fixtures this weekend which will change the look of the table, United know that a win over the Hornets will temporarily move them up to fifth place and above bitter rivals Liverpool who take on Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening.
Further, it continues to keep the Red Devils in contention for a top-four finish, as all they can do is win their games and hope others slip up around them.
As for Martial, a lot has been said about him, but he’s now been directly involved in five goals in his last five starts, as he continues to prove himself to Mourinho.
