Serbian international Zoran Tosic sent out another message to Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson with another two goal salvo just two weeks after he put away a nice brace in Hannover. Watching just how smoothly the 22 year old takes both goals must have had an effect on the Man United boss as he considers whether he will look to bring the talented winger back into the fold.
Tosic takes the first goal superbly well. Fed through from a long ball over the top he then takes the ball around the advancing keeper and then slips the ball past a despairing lunge from an opposition defender from a very acute angle. His second goes some way to showing just why Ferguson brought Zoran from Partizan Belgrade in the first place. A beautiful one two is then calmly slotted away to secure a crucial victory to help pull FC Köln away from the drop zone.
Deemed as not being good enough to both the Old Trafford first team young Serbian Zoran Tosic was farmed out to Bundesliga strugglers Cologne where he has done very well. The 22 year old helped his side to a crucial win this six pointer with Hannover, netting two impressive goals and in turn perhaps giving Sir Alex Ferguson something to think about.
Many reports have suggested that the former Partizan Belgrade man was surplus to requirements at the Premier League champions and that just over a year since arriving at the club he may well be on his way to a permanent exit but this brace may make Ferguson think twice about being quite so hasty in his decision making.
Zoran Tosic is on the fringes of the first team picture at Old Trafford but if he puts away goals like this next time he is in a Man United shirt, then Sir Alex may be forced to take notice. His goal can be seen at around 0.20 on this clip.
