No Barca job for Arsenal manager

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has dismissed all rumours suggesting him to a managerial post at troubled Spanish club FC Barcelona. Last week, Spanish scribes suggested that the Catalan giants could lure the Frenchman to Camp Nou as replacement for coach Frank Rijkaard who is supposed to depart in the summer.

But Wenger, who has been at Arsenal for more than 10 years, says that he is happy working at the Emirates and is no mood to leave. He says:

It’s not the first time [there has been talk of Barcelona’s interest]. I’m happy where I am. I have no intention of moving and I want to carry on at Arsenal.

Sorry Joan Laporta but you now have to look at other places for a coach at Barca. Arsenal fans can heave a huge sigh of relief at the fact that Wenger still loves Arsenal. Viva la Arsene Wenger and Arsenal.
