Cristiano Ronaldo demonstrated his prowess on Saturday night, helping his Portugal team to a comfortable 2-0 victory against Turkey. Quite whether he’ll be involved in any more Manchester United victories remains to be seen, although according to The Press Association, the player continues to remain undecided about where he’ll be playing football next season. This is despite giving the impression that he wanted to be strutting his stuff at the Bernabeu from now onwards.
“I still don’t know where I will play, I have not decided yet. I will talk after the European Championships,” he said in quotes reported by Spanish newspaper Marca.
It must be tantalising for Manchester United and Real Madrid to be kept in the lurch for the next three weeks, although it’s entirely possible that Ronaldo will continue to make utterances such as the above and end up dropping enough hints to help understand whether he’ll be starting the season in a red shirt or a white one.
