Old Lady ready to swoop for French striker.
Juventus are preparing a summer move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema according to Tutto Mercato Web.
The Old Lady are reportedly keen to bring in a marquee signing this summer as they look to establish themselves amongst the dominant forces in European football.
The club have already secured the signing of Atletico Bilbao’s Fernando Llorente who will join the Serie A giants once his contract expires at the end of the season.
The Spanish striker will join on a free transfer meaning the club continue to have funds available for a new striker to pair with Llorente.
Juventus were thought to be keen on signing Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez but have reportedly turned their attention to Benzema after hearing disappointing noises from the Nou Camp about the availability of the Chilean midfielder.
Real Madrid are reportedly willing to listen to offers for Benzema and hope to start negotiations around the £25 million mark.
There is thought to be some leeway with that figure with Benzema’s days thought to be numbered as the club line up summer moves for some of Europe’s top strikers.
Reports in recent months have linked the Spanish giants with Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, Napoli’s Edinson Cavani and Ateltico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao.
