Stamford Bridge side set for heftyspending spree.

Chelsea are set to welcome back Jose Mourinho to Stamford Bridge and Roman Abramovich is ready to bankroll extensive moves in the summer transfer window with as much as £150m needed to cover the cost of the five top talents the Portuguese boss is said to be after according to the Daily Star.

Russian owner Abrmovich is keen to put this season behind him as he looks to strengthen his Blues squad ahead of a full on assault to capture major honours in 2013/14.

Andre Schurrle Arsenal

Having failed with previous bids the West London side are set to splash out £22m to capture long term target Andre Schurrle, who has been in excellent form with Bayer Leverkusen this season. The 22 year old German international has scored five in his last five as his side pushes to secure a Champions League berth.

Falcao Goal

Chelsea are also primed and ready to fork out £50m for Atletico Madrid goal machine Radamel Falcao and are also said to be ready to make a serious move for £30m rated Zenit forward Hulk.

One can only imagine that a push for three quality forwards would spell the end for Spanish flop Fernando Torres whilst also making it abundantly clear to loaned out youngster Romelu Lukaku that a Blues first team return following his successful spell at West Brom is unlikely.

Coentrao Chelsea Price Tag

Perhaps unsurprisingly this source also believes Mourinho will look to raid his current club Real Madrid, with Fabio Coentrao and Sami Khedira high up on his wish-list.

One would imagine that interesting 25 year old Portuguese left-back Coentrao would be with a view to replacing Ashley Cole on a long term basis. Khedira may similarly be seen as a better option than current defensive midfield options John Obi Mikel or Oriol Romeu.

Chelsea are willing to meet Jose Mourinho’s £10m escape clause that will see him leave Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer, with a £12m a year three year deal on the table.
