Bale is fans top target this summer.
Real Madrid’s fans have declared that Spurs winger Gareth Bale is their primary transfer target this summer, according to talkSPORT.
In a poll carried out by Spanish newspaper Marca to discover who the Real fans wanted the club to target this summer and unsurprisingly, the Welshman came out on top.
Bale headed the list by quite some way too, topping the likes of Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan and Bayer Leverkusen’s young centre back Daniel Carvajal.
The Spurs man won a whopping 89.1% of the votes whilst 72.4.% wanted Carajval, Gundogan came in third with 64.8% and Aguero propped the rest of them up with just 59.8%.
This comes just a few days after former Real legend Zinedine Zidane urged the 23-year-old to swap North London for the Spanish capital.
However, both Spurs and Bale have recently spoke out against rumours linking him with a move away this summer. Bale spoke of his desire to stay after collecting dual PFA player of the year and young player of the year awards last weekend.
It is known that he wants to be playing Champions League football, and there is still a danger that Spurs won’t be able to offer him that luxury next term.
