Incoming manager has a list of five main targets for City.
Manuel Pellegrini has informed Manchester City of five of his main targets if he joins the club as manager this summer, according to the Daily Star.
The most notable names on the list are Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus, and Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria, with a deal already said to be in place for Malaga star Isco to follow his boss to the Etihad Stadium.
German attacking midfielder Reus has been a star performer for Borussia Dortmund and is wanted by a number of big clubs, but City will look to test the Bundesliga club’s hand with a big bid of £32million.
Angel Di Maria has also been linked with AC Milan, as Real Madrid may be tempted to sell the Argentinian this summer following a slightly off-form season from the former Benfica player. He could also become surplus to requirements at the Bernebeu if the club manage to land their main transfer target this summer – Gareth Bale.
Pellegrini’s other targets are said to be Sevilla duo Jesus Navas and Geoffrey Kondogbia, with the 59-year-old keen to raid the Spanish league that he knows so well.
