Spanish club running out of patience with the Portuguese boss.
Real Madrid are considering bringing Jose Mourinho’s time at Real Madrid to a premature end according to El Mundo.
The Portuguese boss is widely expected to leave the club this summer after enduring a difficult season in the Spanish capital.
A poor start to the season provided Madrid’s bitter rivals Barcelona with an unassailable lead in La Liga.
The club found themselves knocked out to Borussia Dortmund in the semi final stages of the Champions League but perhaps the final nail in the coffin will have been the Copa Del Rey final defeat to their close neighbours Atletico Madrid.
That loss has reportedly sparked the fury of Madrid President Florentino Perez who is ready to cut his losses on the ‘Special One’.
It has been reported that Mourinho and Real Madrid could find themselves locked in a stalemate over a compensation package for the former Porto, Inter Milan and Chelsea boss.
But it now appears that Perez is preparing to stump up the necessary severance pay in order to get rid of Mourinho sooner rather than later.
It is being suggested that Mourinho may not even finish the season at the club and could have already left before the club compete their final two league games of the season.
The news will be welcomed by Chelsea fans with many expecting Mourinho to arrive at Stamford Bridge imminently.
