Spanish giants ready to tempt Spurs with huge offer for Welsh winger.
Real Madrid are ready to test Tottenham’s resolve with a huge bid for Gareth Bale according to The Telegraph.
Bale has been in fine form this season on his way to collecting both the PFA Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year Awards.
The Welsh youngster has received plaudits from all areas, including from former Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane, who placed Bale behind only Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Tottenham are thought to be desperate to hold on to their star player but their position has been significantly weakened by their failure to qualify for the Champions League.
Spurs know it is only a matter of time before Bale appears in Europe’s elite club competition, whether it be with them or elsewhere.
Real Madrid have made no secret of their admiration for Bale and are ready to make him their top summer target.
The club are currently in negotiations with PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti about taking over the manager’s job from the outgoing Jose Mourinho.
It is being reported that Ancelotti has been promised the club will sanction a big money bid for Bale should the Italian take charge.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is ready to play hardball though and is insisting that Bale will not leave White Hart Lane over the coming months.
