Player’s agent believes move to be 70% likely.
The agent of Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has stated that he believes a move to Juventus is 70% likely according to Goal.com.
Higuain is widely expected to leave the Spanish capital this summer after finding himself increasingly out of favour at the Bernabeu.
The forward largely found himself playing second fiddle to French striker Karim Benzema and Higuain is keen to secure regular first team football with next year’s World Cup tournament in Brazil just around the corner.
Higuain has been linked with the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal in recent months but it is thought that Juventus are in pole position for the player’s signature.
Juventus are keen to bring in a marquee signing this summer as they look to re-establish themselves amongst the dominant forces in European football.
The Old Lady are keen to bring in another striker to partner with the incoming Fernando Llorente. The Atletico Bilbao forward will arrive in Turin in the coming days once his current deal expires.
Juventus chiefs are now in Madrid to finalise a move for Higuain. The arrival of the Argentine forward is likely to put an end to Juventus’ interest in Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic, which could pave the way for the Montenegrin forward to sign for Arsenal.
