Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has said that he expects to leave the Gunners within the next fortnight and that he has spoken to 5 or 6 clubs interested in his services Sky Sports reports.
The Dane has not been part of Arsene Wenger’s plans for a long time and hasn’t played for the club since August 2011.
Since then he has had loan spells at Sunderland and Italian giants Juventus.
He has had a difficult time in Turin, struggling to get into the Italian champions first team and it now appears that he will finally secure a permanent move away from Arsenal, with the club already saying that he will be allowed to leave.
“I am talking with five or six clubs at the moment over a permanent transfer,” Bendtner said.
Bendtner scored 43 goals for Arsenal but struggled to get into the Gunners first team during his time at the club.
Turkish club Besiktas are reportedly interest in the Danish international as well as clubs in France, Germany, Holland and Portugal.
Arsene Wenger looks set to sign a striker this summer, with scoring goals being a problem at the Emirates last season.
Arsenal have been linked with Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney and Ream Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain.
