The Spaniard is setting his sights high with City.
Manchester City’s newest signing has said that he wants to win the Champions League with his new club according to Sky Sports.
Jesus Navas made the move from Sevilla for £14.9 million earlier this week and has already had a lot of success at international level, having won the World Cup and European Championships with Spain.
Now, the winger is looking to win club football’s biggest prize as well.
“I’ve won some important titles, but the Champions League is something you always have in mind,” said Navas.
The winger has signed a four year contract with City and signals a new style of play for the Premier League runners-up.
City have used wingers sparingly under Roberto Mancini but that looks set to change now that Manuel Pellegrini looks like being named the clubs new manager.
City have also signed Shaktar Donetsk midfielder Fernandinho this summer as they look to bounce back from a difficult season in which they failed to defend their Premier League title, finishing runners-up to bitter rivals Manchester United.
The club are also interested in Napoli striker Edinson Cavani but are set to face competition from Chelsea and Real Madrid for the striker’s signature while Man City look set to make Spanish play-maker Isco the third new addition to the squad this summer.
